Museum of Chance

First, decide how many Museum of Chance books you’d like to include in your Museum of
Chance exhibition. I would say a minimum of three
Once you’ve decided on a number, buy those books from Steidl Verlag
It is possible that you will receive some books with the same cover, as Museum of Chance
has been created to have 44 different front and back covers and the books are distributed at
random. In case you receive duplicate books, keep buying more until you have reached your desired number with different covers. Alternatively, duplicate books could also work for the exhibition as the front and the back covers are different
Once you have received your desired number of books, begin to place each book on the wall using four L-clips for each book
Finally, download the Museum of Chance blurb from the Steidl website and place it on the wall
alongside the books
The exhibition is now ready to open
Intermittently change the books from their front covers to their back covers and vice versa
through the course of the day. In this way, the exhibition will continually change and the experience of visitors will vary according to timing and chance
